Larisa B.C. (Greek: Λάρισα K.A.E.), or Larisa Basket (alternate spelling: Larissa), is a Greek professional basketball club that is located in Larissa, Greece. It is a part of the G.S. Ermis Agias Larisa (Γ.Σ. Ερμής Αγιάς Λάρισα) multi-sports club. The club's full original name was Gymnastikos Syllogos Agias Ermis Larisa (Γυμναστικός Σύλλογος Επαρχίας Αγιάς Ερμής Λάρισα). The club's official emblem is a seal with Hermes (Ermis) on it, one of the Greek gods. The team's colors are white and blue. The team most recently competed in the Greek Basket League, the top-tier level of Greek basketball. Larissa Neapolis Indoor Arena is an indoor sporting arena that is located in the city of Larissa, Greece, in the district of Neapolis. The arena is used to host basketball and volleyball games. The arena is a part of the Larissa National Sports Center complex. The permanent seating capacity of the arena for basketball games is 4,000, using only the permanent upper-tier seats, and 5,500 using the retractable lower-tier bleachers. The 2017–18 Greek A2 Basket League was the 32nd season of the Greek A2 Basket League, the second-tier level professional club basketball league in Greece. It was the third season with the participation of 16 teams. Playoff and play out games were also held, for a third consecutive season. Peristeri clinched the championship four games before the end of the regular season. Together with the playoffs winners Holargos, they were promoted to the 2018–19 Greek Basket League. Kyprianos Ioannis "Paris" Maragkos (alternate spelling: Maragos) (Greek: Κυπριανός Ιωάννης "Πάρης" Μαραγκός; born January 19, 1994) is a Greek professional basketball player for Keravnos of the Cypriot League. Zois Karampelas (Greek: Ζωής Καράμπελας, born April 27, 2001) is a Greek professional basketball player for AEK Athens of the Greek Basket League and the Basketball Champions League. He plays at the point guard position. Professional career Karampelas began his pro career in the Greek 2nd Division with Peristeri, in the 2017–18 season. Dimitris Cheilaris ( el, Δημήτρης Χείλαρης, ; born August 18, 1990) is a Greek professional basketball player who last played for Charilaos Trikoupis of the Greek A2 Basket League. Born in Leonidio, he started his professional career with Amyntas. Subsequently, he moved to Filathlitikos, where he was a teammate with Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Basketball Cup or Hellenic Basketball Cup (Greek language, Greek: Κύπελλο Ελλάδος καλαθοσφαίρισης ανδρών) is the top-tier level annual pro basketball national cup competition in Greece.
