Lar Corbett
Laurence Corbett (born 16 March 1981) is an Irish former hurler who played for Tipperary Championship club Thurles Sarsfields. He played for the Tipperary senior hurling team for 15 years, during which time he usually lined out as a left corner-forward. Noted for his deadly accuracy in front of goal, Corbett is regarded as one of Tipperary's all-time greatest forwards. Corbett began his hurling career at club level with Thurles Sarsfields. He broke onto the club's top adult team as a minor and enjoyed his first senior success in 2005 when Thurles Sarsfields won the Tipperary Senior Championship. Corbett won a further seven championship titles as well a Munster Club Championship in 2012. At inter-county level, Corbett joined the Tipperary senior team in 2000, having earlier lined out with the Tipperary under-21 team. Thurles (; ''Durlas Éile'') is a town in County Tipperary, Ireland. It is located in the civil parish of the same name in the barony of Eliogarty and in the ecclesiastical parish of Thurles (Roman Catholic parish), Thurles. GAA All Stars Awards
The Gaelic Athletic Association-Gaelic Players' Association All Stars Awards (often known simply as the All Stars) are awarded annually to the best player in each of the 15 playing positions in Gaelic football and hurling. Additionally, one player in each code is selected as Player of the Year. The awards were instituted in 1971. Since 2011 they have been presented jointly by the Gaelic Athletic Association and the representative body for inter-county players, the Gaelic Players Association. Each player who receives a nomination is given a medallion marking the milestone. It is considered "the most coveted sporting award scheme in the country". Mullinahone-CJ Kickhams GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association located in Mullinahone, south County Tipperary, Ireland, close to the border with County Kilkenny. The Mullinahone Club is named in honour of Charles J. Kickham, "Poet and Patriot", who was born in the village. 2002 Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship
The 2002 Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship was the 112th staging of the Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Tipperary County Board in 1887. The championship began on 14 September 2002 and ended on 10 November 2002. Toomevara were the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Mullinahone at the semi-final stage. On 10 November 2002, Mullinahone won the title after a 2–10 to 1–11 defeat of Thurles Sarsfields in a final replay at Semple Stadium. It remains their only championship title. Eoin Kelly, Pat Croke, Johnny Enright and Ger O'Grady were the championship's top scorers. The 2001 Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship was the 111th staging of the Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Tipperary County Board in 1887. The championship ran from 14 October to 11 November 2001. Toomevara were the defending champions. The 2013 Inter-Provincial Hurling Championship, known as the 2013 M Donnelly Hurling Inter-Provincial Championship due to the tournament's sponsorship by businessman Martin Donnelly, was the 84th series of the Inter-provincial Championship. The 2007 Interprovincial Hurling Championship was the 80th staging of the Interprovincial Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1927. The championship began on 13 October 2007 and ended on 27 October 2007. Leinster were the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Munster in the semi-final. On 27 October 2007, Munster won the championship following a 2-22 to 2–19 defeat of Connacht in the final at Croke Park. The GAA Interprovincial Championship ( ga, An Corn Idir-Chúigeach) or Railway Cup (''Corn an Iarnróid'') is the name of two annual Gaelic football and hurling competitions held between the provinces of Ireland. The Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster GAA teams are composed of the best players from the counties in each province. The games are organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. The Railway Cup was a revival of the Railway Shield which ran from 1905 to 1907 (football) and from 1905 to 1908 (hurling). The first Railway Cup competitions (the name is due to the donation of the trophy by Irish Rail) were held in 1927, with Munster winning the first football title and Leinster winning the first hurling title.
