Lansing United
Lansing United was an American amateur soccer club based in East Lansing, Michigan that competed in the Premier Development League and the National Premier Soccer League. The club's men's team folded after the 2018 season, with Lansing Ignite FC beginning play in USL League One. The club continued to field a women's team in United Women's Soccer. History Club Beginnings (2013–2017) Lansing United was accepted into the National Premier Soccer League's Great Lakes West Conference of the Midwest Region in Fall of 2013. Ideas for names were solicited from the Greater Lansing community, and Lansing United was chosen. The club motto is "Pride, Passion and Unity" and is reflected in the team's logo, with the star representing pride, the flame representing passion, and the gear representing unity. Archer Stadium
Archer Stadium is a 1,500 seat soccer stadium located in East Lansing, Michigan. Its primary tenants are East Lansing High School and Lansing United Women of United Women's Soccer. History In 2013, the two varsity fields at the East Lansing Soccer Complex were renamed "Archer Stadium" to honor over 40 years of service from East Lansing High School coach Nick Archer. Tyler Pasher
Tyler Pasher (born 27 April 1994) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Birmingham Legion in the USL Championship. Club Youth Pasher became a member of the Woolwich Soccer Association, of which his father Jeff was president, at age 6. He trained with English club Newcastle United's academy on multiple occasions throughout his youth. The first time he travelled to Newcastle as a schoolboy, he stepped right into training with the academy, something that no other Canadian had ever done. Pasher originally made contact with Newcastle through a local coach and his son, David Edgar, a fellow Canadian who was also at Newcastle. Between the ages of 9 and 16, Pasher trained with the club during his two-week school break each March and for two months each summer. Thabiso Khumalo
Thabiso "Boyzzz" Khumalo (born 27 October 1980 in Soweto) is a former South African footballer. Since 2019, he has been head coach of AFC Ann Arbor's women's side in the USL W League. Early life and education As a boy, Khumalo played under Farouk Khan at the "Super Centre" at the Transnet School of Excellence, before moving to the United States at the age of 16, settling in Kentucky. Khumalo attended Bethlehem High School in Bardstown, Kentucky, played club soccer for the Nelson County Assassins, Javanon and Lexington Premier, and played college soccer for Lindsey Wilson College and Coastal Carolina University while studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. Waitakere United was a football club based in Waitakere City, New Zealand. They were one of the franchises in the ISPS Handa Premiership. They played their home games at Fred Taylor Park in Kumeu and The Trusts Arena. History Waitakere United was formed as a special franchise club in 2004 to play in the New Zealand Football Championship (NZFC), New Zealand's top domestic football competition. The team represented 12 member clubs from Mt Albert to the Kaipara. In the inaugural season (2004–05) of the NZFC, Waitakere United finished runners-up to the champions Auckland City but they followed up with a very disappointing 6th place in the next season. The campus of Michigan State University is located in East Lansing on the banks of the Red Cedar River, and comprises a contiguous area of , of which are developed. Built amid virgin forest, the campus opened in 1855 with three buildings, none of which remain. Michigan State University (Michigan State, MSU) is a public land-grant research university in East Lansing, Michigan. East Lansing is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. Most of the city lies within Ingham County with a smaller portion extending north into Clinton County.
