Langley Rams
The Langley Rams (formerly the South Surrey Rams and Big Kahuna Rams) are a Canadian Junior Football team based in Langley, British Columbia. The Rams play in the six-team B.C. Football Conference, which itself is part of the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) and competes annually for the national title known as the Canadian Bowl. History The Rams were founded in 1948, where they were based in Surrey and known as the Surrey Rams and later the South Surrey Rams when the club briefly relocated to South Surrey. In 2006, the team was renamed the Big Kahuna Rams after a sponsorship deal was signed with Big Kahuna Sport Company. On December 5, 2010, the team was officially introduced as the Langley Rams as the team made the move to Langley to play in McLeod Athletic Park Stadium. Jane & Gerry Swan Track at Rotary Stadium is a fully lighted, multi-purpose stadium located in Abbotsford, British Columbia. It features a rubberized 400 metre running track ("Jane & Gerry Swan Track") with wide turns and full field event facilities. The grandstand contains 4,000 seats (3,000 covered). Rotary Stadium is the home of the Valley Royals Track & Field Club, the Fraser Valley Venom (Rugby Canada Super League), and the Abbotsford Falcons (Football Club). The Township of Langley is a district municipality immediately east of the City of Surrey in southwestern British Columbia, Canada. Western Alumni Stadium (formerly TD Stadium) is an 8,000-seat Canadian football stadium located on the campus of the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. It is home to the Western Mustangs football team and is one of the largest stadiums in the OUA provincial conference. It was built in 2000 at a cost of approximately $10.65 million by Norlon Builders London Ltd and designed by Stantec Consulting Ltd. Apple Bowl
The Apple Bowl is a multi-purpose stadium located at the Parkinson Recreation Area in Kelowna, British Columbia. It is the home of the Okanagan Sun of the Canadian Junior Football League and the Okanagan FC of the Pacific Coast Soccer League. It is formally the home of the Okanagan Challenge of the same league. Besides hosting field events, it has a rubberized 400m running track and facilities for other track and field events. The Kamloops Broncos are a Canadian Junior Canadian Football, football team based in Kamloops, British Columbia. The Broncos play in the six-team B.C. Football Conference (BCFC), which is part of the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) and competes annually for the national title known as the Canadian Bowl. The team was founded as the ''Kamloops Cowboys'' in 2000, but were relegated to non-playing status by the BCFC in 2003 when the organization was unable to pay their debts. Starlight Stadium (formerly Westhills Stadium) is a 6,000 seat multi-purpose stadium in Langford, British Columbia, Canada. It is used by Pacific FC of the Canadian Premier League for soccer, by Rugby Canada for various events, and by the Westshore Rebels junior Canadian football team. In an international context, its most notable usage is as the site of the Canada Women's Sevens, an event in the World Rugby Women's Sevens Series for national rugby sevens teams. The Westshore Rebels are a Canadian junior football team based in Langford, British Columbia. The Rebels play in the B.C.
