Langevåg IL
Langevåg Idrettslag is a sports club located in Langevåg, Sula, Norway. It has sections for association football, team handball and electric floorball. Football Langevåg played their first game on Langevåg Stadion in 1921. In 1961, the team played play-offs for promotion to Hovedserien, the Norwegian top division, but lost 3–4 on aggregate against Steinkjer. 7,700 spectators attended the home game, which is the attendance record at Langevåg Stadion. The men's football team currently plays in 4. divisjon, the fifth tier of the Norwegian football league system, since their promotion from the sixth tier in 2019. They last played in the 2. divisjon (third tier) in 2002 and 2003. Football Association Of Norway
The Norwegian Football Federation ( nb, Norges Fotballforbund, nn, Noregs Fotballforbund; NFF) is the governing body of football in Norway. It was formed in 1902 and organises the men's and women's national teams, as well as the league systems for men and women (whose top levels are respectively the Eliteserien and Toppserien). The current president of NFF is Lise Klaveness. By 1 January 2004, there were 1,814 clubs organized in Norway and 373,532 registered players. It is the largest sports federation in Norway. The NFF joined FIFA in 1908, and UEFA in 1954. The NFF was part of an unsuccessful joint bid with the SvFF, the DBU and the SPL to host the UEFA Euro 2008 championship. The SvFF invited the NFF to join them in bidding for the UEFA Euro 2016 championship. Cecilie Fiskerstrand
Cecilie Hauståker Fiskerstrand (born 20 March 1996) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for LSK Kvinner of the Norwegian Toppserien and for Norway. Fiskerstrand got a rupture in one of the cruciate ligaments in the knee during a training 11 May 2022. She will therefore not be able to play the rest of the 2022 season in Toppserien or participate in the Euro 2022. Club career Fiskerstrand began her career in Langevåg. In 2014, she moved to the second division club Fortuna Ålesund, where she first played in the U-19 team and then also for the senior team. In the same year, she moved to toppserien club Stabæk. In November 2015 Fiskerstrand transferred from Stabæk to reigning champions LSK Kvinner FK. Fiskerstand signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with Brighton & Hove Albion W.F.C. in January 2020.
