Landstown High School
Landstown High School Governor's STEM and Technology Academy is a public secondary school located in Virginia Beach, Virginia which first opened in 2001. The school features the Technology Academy and Governor's STEM Academy, two of several magnet programs in Virginia Beach. It was founded as a general high school and technology magnet school in 2001 and additionally designated a Governor's STEM Academy during the 2012–2013 school year. Landstown is home to the award winning "Eagle Elite" Madrigal (Chamber) Choir. Under the former direction of Dr. Martha Springstead, the choral department has performed in NYC (2005) with the Heritage Festivals of Gold at Riverside Church, and are members of the Disney Honors, Class of 2006, Class of 2011, and Class of 2015 held at Disney World. Chris Beatty
Christopher Beatty (born June 19, 1973) is an American football assistant coach. Beatty is currently the wide receivers coach for the Los Angeles Chargers football team. Beatty was formerly a professional football player in the Canadian Football League and a former school-record holder at East Tennessee State University as a wide receiver. Early life Christopher Beatty was born in 1973 in Topeka, Kansas, but grew up in Centreville, Virginia. Beatty attended Chantilly High School in Chantilly, Virginia, where he graduated in 1991. Upon his graduation, Beatty attended East Tennessee State. From 1991 to 1994, he was a starter at wide receiver where he earned All-Southern Conference honors his senior season. Marlena Wesh
Marlena Hilari Wesh (born February 16, 1991) is a Haitian-American sprinter who competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics for Haiti in the women's 200-meter and 400-meter sprints. Biography She was born and raised in Virginia, but is eligible to compete for Haiti because both her parents were born and raised there. She has never been to Haiti though she is a citizen there also. Four of the five athletes representing Haiti at the 2012 Olympics are not from Haiti. Wesh says, "I still feel Haitian even if I wasn't born there". An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach.
