Landsdelsserien
Landsdelsserien is a former division in Norwegian football and from 1951 to 1962, it was the second tier division in the Norwegian football league system. Following the creation of the new 1. divisjon in 1963, the division folded and its district groups were replaced by national groups in the new second tier; 2. divisjon. History Landsdelsserien consisted of seven district groups of seven or eight team in each group. The two winners of the groups from Eastern Norway were promoted directly to the following season's top division, at the time named Hovedserien (English: ''The Main League''). The remaining five winner qualified for promotion play-offs to compete for two spots in the following season's top division. In the 1961–62 season, only two teams promoted. 1961–62 Landsdelsserien
The 1961–62 Landsdelsserien was a Norway, Norwegian second-tier association football, football league season, the last named Landsdelsserien. The league was contested by 55 teams, divided into a total of seven groups from four districts; Østland/Søndre, Østland/Nordre, Sørland/Vestre and Møre/Trøndelag. The seven group winners qualified for promotion play-offs to compete for two spots in the 1963 1. divisjon. Sarpsborg FK, Sarpsborg and FK Gjøvik-Lyn, Gjøvik-Lyn won the play-offs and were promoted to the top flight. Due to a format change in the league system, 45 teams were relegated to the 1963 3. divisjon. The league was contested by 54 teams, divided into a total of seven groups from four districts; Østland/Søndre, Østland/Nordre, Sørland/Vestre and Møre/Trøndelag. Ålgård FK
Ã…lgÃ¥rd Fotballklubb is a men's football club located in Ã…lgÃ¥rd, Norway that was founded in 1915. Ã…lgÃ¥rd played in Hovedserien, then the highest division in Norway, for several years after World War II. The club has been playing mainly at the third tier level, and was last promoted to 2. divisjon in 2002. Moss Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club, founded on 28 August 1906. They play in the 2. divisjon, the third highest division in the Norwegian football league system. They played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937-1939, 1953-1954, 1977-1985 (9 seasons), 1987-1990 (4 seasons), 1996 and 1998-2002. The club came close to earning promotion to the top flight in 2005, but lost the play-off against Molde. Stadium Moss play their home games at Melløs stadion, which has a capacity of around 10,000. Geithus is a village in Modum municipality of Buskerud, Norway. It is situated between the villages of Ã…mot and Vikersund. Nordnes is a peninsula and neighbourhood in the city centre of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. Vågen, Byfjorden, and Puddefjorden surround the peninsula. The Bergen Aquarium is located at the tip of the peninsula. The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research and Fredriksberg Fortress are also located on Nordnes. The parish church, Nykirken i Bergen, is located in this neighborhood. The neighbourhood of Nordnes includes approximately 50% of the peninsula.
