Lanchkhuti
Lanchkhuti ( ka, ლანჩხუთი) is a city in western Georgian region of Guria. It has a population of about 8,000. Lanchkhuti received city status in 1961. Under the USSR, it was the centre of the Georgian SSR Lanchkhuti area and today continues to serve as the capital of the eponymous district within the Guria region. Lanchkhuti is an industrial town with a tea processing factory, cannery, meat and dairy factory and a brick and tile factory. The town is served by a railway station on the Samtredia-Batumi line. Lanchkhuti ( ka, ლანჩხუთის მუნიციპალიტეტი, ''Lančxutis municip’alit’et’i'') is a district of Georgia, in the region of Guria. Its main town is Lanchkhuti. Lanchkhuti municipality is located in western Georgia, northwest of the Guria Mountains, bordered on the west by an Black Sea coast. The municipality occupies of the Kolkheti National Park, the purpose of which is to protect the flora and fauna in the Kolkheti lowlands, as well as to preserve nature intact. The villages of the mountainous zone are located . At an altitude above sea level, the villages of the lowland zone are mainly bordered by Kolkheti National Park. FC Guria Lanchkhuti
FC Guria is a Georgian association football club from Lanchkhuti, which competes in Liga 3, the third tier of the national league. Being one of the strongest Georgian teams in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Guria have taken part in the Soviet Top league, also won the national Cup and played fifteen seasons in Umaglesi Liga, twice claiming silver medals. History Early period Formed in 1924 as FC Kimi, the team ceased to exist after the start of World War 2 and resumed functioning in 1952 under the name "Kolmeurne". In 1960 the club was renamed as Guria. The next year they gained a first title by becoming champions of the republican league. A municipality ( ka, მუნიციპალიტეტი, tr) is a subdivision of Georgia, consisting of a settlement or a group of settlements (community, თემი, ''temi''), which enjoy local self-government. Cody, Wyoming
Cody is a city in Northwest Wyoming and the seat of government of Park County, Wyoming, United States. Samtredia ( ka, სამტრედია ) is a town in Imereti, Georgia, lying in a lowland between the rivers Rioni and Tskhenis-Tsqali, west of the capital Tbilisi, and west of Georgia's second largest city Kutaisi.
