Lamborghini American Challenge
''Lamborghini American Challenge'' (previously released as ''Crazy Cars III'') is a 1994 racing video game developed and published by Titus France for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, Amiga, Amiga CD32, Atari ST, Commodore 64, Game Boy line, Game Boy, and MS-DOS. The game is essentially an upgrade from Titus's previous entry in the ''Crazy Cars'' franchise, ''Crazy Cars III''. It adds a two player mode, a few more options, and a jazz fusion soundtrack. It also changes the scoring system and gives the player a possibility to save progress every 5 races (instead after Division Challenge only). The night goggles item is no longer available for purchase (except in the SNES version) and the car no longer bounces to the top of the screen after driving through slopes at high speeds. Super Scope
The Super Scope, known as the Nintendo Scope in Europe and Australia, is a first party light gun peripheral for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The successor to the NES Zapper, the Super Scope was released in North America and the PAL region in 1992, followed by a limited release in Japan in 1993 due to a lack of consumer demand. The peripheral consists of two devices: the wireless light gun itself, called the Transmitter, and a Receiver that connects to the second controller port of the Super NES console. The Super NES Mouse, sold as the in Japan, is a peripheral created by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was first released on July 14, 1992, in Japan, in August 1992 in North America, and on December 10, 1992, in Europe. Originally designed for use with the game ''Mario Paint'', the Super NES Mouse was sold in a bundle with the game and included a plastic mouse pad. Soon after its introduction, several other titles were released with Mouse support. Although this device closely resembles and mimics the functionality of a two-button computer mouse, it was smaller than most computer mice of the time and had a significantly shorter cord than the standard Super NES controller. One of the few magazines of the era to survive the video game crash of 1983, it was sold to Ziff Davis in 1993. ''Jaguar XJ220'' is a pseudo-3D racing game released by Core Design for the Amiga in 1992 and Mega-CD in 1993. The car featured is the eponymous Jaguar. Gameplay The game takes place in a series of championship races across 12 different countries, with three races in each. The player starts in England but must decide which country to race in next, which costs the team various amounts. The player can also choose to repair damage to the car. The game also featured a two player mode similar to the '' Lotus'' challenge games. Track editor The game features an edit mode that allows players to create their own track. Reception ''Jaguar XJ220'' received good reviews. Amiga Action rated the game 98% and praised the intuitive gameplay and the inclusion of a track editor. ''F1'' (released as ''Formula One'' in the USA) is a 1993 racing video game published by Domark, based on '' Vroom'', a game developed in 1991 for the Atari ST by French company Lankhor. It was released for the Mega Drive/Genesis, Master System, Game Gear, and Amiga. It spawned a sequel in 1994 titled ''F1 World Championship Edition'', and the game engine was reused in ''Kawasaki Superbike Challenge''. It was one of the most popular racing games for the Mega Drive/Genesis, mostly thanks to the smooth and fast game engine. The ''Lotus'' series consists of three racing computer games based around the Lotus brand: ''Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge'', ''Lotus Turbo Challenge 2'', and ''Lotus III: The Ultimate Challenge''. Paragon Publishing Ltd (or Paragon for short) was a magazine publisher in the UK, which published computer games and other entertainment titles from 1991 to 2003. Brief history Paragon Publishing Ltd was formed in a small office in Trowbridge, Wiltshire by ex-Future Publishing staff Richard Monteiro and Diane Tavener. With a small team of staff they began work on their first publication ''Sega Pro''.
