Lakeland Airlines (IATA—YQ) was founded in 1980 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. It served at various times 11 cities, with commuter service to Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport, Minneapolis (MSP), Richard I. Bong Airport, Superior (SUW), John F. Kennedy Memorial Airport, Ashland (ASX), Sawyer County Airport, Hayward (HYR), Rice Lake Regional Airport, Rice Lake (RIE), Chippewa Valley Regional Airport, Eau Claire (EAU), Dane County Regional Airport, Madison (MSN), General Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee (MKE), O'Hare International Airport, Chicago (ORD), South Wood County Airport, Wisconsin Rapids (ISW), and Rhinelander–Oneida County Airport, Rhinelander (RHI).
