Laia Codina Panedas (; born 22 January 2000) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Liga F club FC Barcelona and the Spain women's national team. She has represented Spain in multiple youth national teams. Early life and education Born in Campllong, Province of Girona, Catalonia, Codina began playing football when she was four years old. As a child, she was a player in the lower categories of the Unió Deportiva Cassà, a team from the Girona municipality of Cassá de la Selva. Until the age of 14, she played on boys' teams. The Copa de la Reina (Queen's Cup) is an annual cup competition for Spanish women's association football teams organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The 2020–21 Primera División Femenina de Fútbol was the 33rd edition of Spain's highest women's football league, the 20th since the inception of the ''Superliga Femenina''. The league was scheduled to start on 5 September 2020 and to finish on 27 June 2021, however, the start date was delayed to 3 October. The 2019 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship (also known as UEFA Women's Under-19 Euro 2019) was the 18th edition of the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship (22nd edition if the Under-18 era is included), the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the women's under-19 national teams of Europe. Scotland, which were selected by UEFA on 9 December 2016, was the host of the tournament, which took place from 16 to 28 July 2019. Jorge Vilda Rodríguez (born 7 July 1981) is a Spanish Association football, football coach and UEFA Pro Licence holder, who is the current head coach of the Spain women's national football team - a position he has held since 2015. Vilda is also sporting director of the Spanish FA's (RFEF) women's national-team system and tactical instructor at their National Coaching School. The Spain women's national under-17 football team represents Spain in international football in under-17 categories and is controlled by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
