Lady Brigid Katharine Rachel Guinness (30 July 19208 March 1995) was the youngest daughter of Rupert Guinness, 2nd Earl of Iveagh, and wife of Prince Frederick of Prussia (1911–1966), Prince Frederick of Prussia, grandson of Wilhelm II, German Emperor. Early life Brigid was born in London, fifth child and youngest daughter of Rupert Guinness, 2nd Earl of Iveagh (1874–1967, son of Edward Guinness, 1st Earl of Iveagh), and his wife, Gwendolen Guinness, Countess of Iveagh, Lady Gwendolen Onslow (1881–1966, daughter of William Onslow, 4th Earl of Onslow). She belonged to the Guinness family, Irish Protestants noted for their accomplishments in brewing, banking, politics and diplomacy. Duchess Cecilie Auguste Marie of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (20 September 1886 – 6 May 1954) was the last German Crown Princess and Crown Princess of Prussia as the wife of Wilhelm, German Crown Prince, the son of German Emperor Wilhelm II. Cecilie was a daughter of Frederick Francis III, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Grand Duchess Anastasia Mikhailovna of Russia. Old Windsor
Old Windsor is a large village and civil parish, in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, in Berkshire, England. It is bounded by the River Thames to the east and the Windsor Great Park to the west. Etymology The name originates from old English ''Windles-ore'', ''Windlesora'', or ''winch by the riverside''. The village was originally called Windsor, until the (now larger) town of New Windsor, from the village, assumed the name. Windsor is first mentioned in the ''Anglo-Saxon Chronicle''. St Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, is a Grade II*listed Anglican church of the Anglo-Catholic tradition located at 32a Wilton Place in Knightsbridge, London. History and architecture The church was founded in 1843, the first in London to champion the ideals of the Oxford Movement, during the incumbency of the Rev. W. J. E. Bennett. The architect was Thomas Cundy the younger. Charles Ronald George Nall-Cain, 3rd Baron Brocket (born 12 February 1952), also known as Charlie Brocket, is a peer, business owner and television presenter from the United Kingdom. He was jailed for insurance fraud in 1996. Biography Brocket is the son of Ronald Nall-Cain and Elizabeth Trotter. His father died when he was nine years old. Aged fifteen, he became the 3rd Baron Brocket on the death of his grandfather, Arthur Nall-Cain, 2nd Baron Brocket, also inheriting Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire. The Hall was in a poor state of repair, and he has since converted it into a hotel and conference venue. He still owns the hall through a trust which leases it to a German consortium.
