La Voz (American Season 2)
The second season of ''La Voz (American TV series), La Voz'' premiered January 19, 2020 on Telemundo. Wisin, Alejandra Guzmán, Luis Fonsi and Carlos Vives returned as coaches from the La Voz (American season 1), previous season. Meanwhile, Jorge Bernal and Jacqueline Bracamontes continued as hosts, joined by Nastassja Bolívar as the backstage reporter. This season also featured a fifth coach, Mau y Ricky, who selected contestants to participate in ''The Comeback Stage''. On Sunday, August 16, 2020, Sammy Colon was announced the second season winner of the Spanish-language version of ''The Voice US'', alongside his coach, Carlos Vives. Juan Luis Morera Luna (; born December 19, 1978), best known as his stage name Wisin (), is a Puerto Rican reggaeton rapper, singer and record producer, best known as a member of the reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. Wisin is noted for his unique and aggressive style of rapping. Career Wisin met Yandel in school. They began performing as a duo in the late 1990s and made their album debut in 2000 with ''Los Reyes del Nuevo Milenio''. They later made the jump to a major label in 2003 with '' Mi Vida... MIX5 was a Latin American band formed on the second season of ''La Banda (TV series), La Banda.'' The group consisted of three boys and two girls and was composed of Brian Cruz, Taishmara Rivera, Chris Vanny, Danelly Hoyer, and Garmandy Candelario. MIX5 was formally announced as a group on the Univision website after winning the competition. The group disbanded in early 2018. The band came back as a trio in 2020 with a new name, M3, which consists of Candelario, Vanny, and Hoyer. Cruz and Rivera became solo artists after the group split in 2018.
