La Voix (season 1)
'' La Voix'' is the French Canadian version of ''The Voice''. The first season of ''La Voix'' premiered on the TVA on 20 January 2013 and ended on 14 April 2013. It featured Marc Dupré, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Marie-Mai and Ariane Moffatt as the coaches. During the seasons mentors also took part. They were Daniel Bélanger, Claude Dubois, Annie Villeneuve and Fred St-Gelais. The series was produced by Stéphane Laporte and hosted by Charles Lafortune. The winner was Valérie Carpentier from Ariane Moffatt's Team. Season Summary : Winner : Finalist During the season, mentors also assisted various teams. Marc Dupré
Marc Dupré (born July 28, 1973) is a Canadian singer, songwriter and musician from Quebec. Career His first album release was ''Refaire le monde'' in 2005. It included "Tout près du bonheur" with Céline Dion. The song was written by Dion and a music video was also released that was shot in Nevada. At the first Gala Artis, held in Montreal on April 30, 2006, Céline Dion also performed the song with Dupré. Dupré opened for Céline Dion in her "Taking Chances" tour in Montréal and the release of a second album ''Revenir à toi'' in 2008. His third album ''Entre deux toz'' also contained a duet with Dion in the track "Y'a pas de mots". His fourth album was released in 2013 titled ''Nous sommes les mêmes'' earning him the Félix for "Best male artist of the year"during the "35e Gala L'ADISQ" on October 27, 2013. Amsterdam (Jacques Brel Song)
"Amsterdam" is a song by Jacques Brel. It combines a powerful melancholic crescendo with a rich poetic account of the exploits of sailors on shore leave in Amsterdam. Musically, it takes its base melody line from the melody of the English folk song Greensleeves. Brel never recorded this for a studio album, and his only version was released on the live album '' Enregistrement Public à l'Olympia 1964''. Highway To Hell (song)
"Highway to Hell" is a song by Australian rock band AC/DC. It is the opening track of their 1979 album ''Highway to Hell''. It was initially released as a single in 1979. The song was written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young and Bon Scott, with Angus Young credited for writing the guitar riff which became an instant classic. AC/DC had made several studio albums before and were constantly promoting them via a grueling tour schedule, referred to by Angus Young as being on a highway to Hell, hence the name. Rimouski ( ) is a city in Quebec, Canada. Rimouski is located in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, at the mouth of the Rimouski River. It has a population of 48,935 (as of 2021). Terrebonne () is an off-island suburb of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It is located in the North Shore region of the Montreal area, north of Laval across the Rivière des Mille-Îles. Hawkesbury is a Franco-Ontarian city in Prescott-Russell county in Eastern Ontario, Canada. The vast majority of its 10,550 inhabitants are francophone. Johnny Winter
John Dawson Winter III (February 23, 1944 – July 16, 2014) was an American singer and guitarist. Winter was known for his high-energy blues rock albums and live performances in the late 1960s and 1970s.
