is a Japanese Singing, singer and Actor, actress. She is one of the most popular and best-selling artists in Japan. Akina achieved national recognition after winning the 1981 season of the talent show ''Star Tanjō!''. Her debut single "Slow Motion (Akina Nakamori song), Slow Motion" was released to moderate success, peaking at number thirty on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. Pre-history MCA Inc., a powerful talent agency and a television production company, entered the recorded music business in 1962 with the purchase of the New York-based US Decca Records (established in 1934), including Coral Records and Brunswick Records. ''Utahime'' (歌姫) is a cover album by Japanese singer Akina Nakamori. It was released on 24 March 1994 under the MCA Records label. It is Nakamori's first cover album, and her only cover album to be released in the 90s. On the same day the promotional cover single "Kataomoi (Michiru Maki song)#Akina Nakamori version, Kataomoi" was released. The calligraphy on the album cover was written by Yousui Inoue. The re-printed version includes instrumental versions of the cover tracks arranged by Akira Senju. In 2002, Nakamori returned to her ''Utahime'' cover album series under Universal Music Japan. Stage performance In December 1994, Nakamori held a one-night "''Utahime'' Akina Nakamori Live" show in Parco Theatre, where she performed "Aizenbashi", "Watashi wa Kaze", "Shishuuki" and "Dance wa Umaku Odorenai". Neko Oikawa
(born February 10, 1960) is a Japanese lyricist who has written J-pop and anime theme songs over her career. Biography Neko Oikawa was born in Wakayama, Wakayama. She made her songwriting debut in 1985 with Kanako Wada's "Passing Through", which won the Mitsubishi Minica Mascot Song Contest. During her time with Fuji Pacific Music, Oikawa wrote songs for numerous Japanese idols; most notably the duo Wink. In 1989, her song "Samishii Nettaigyo" for Wink won the Grand Prix at the 31st Japan Record Awards and the 22nd All Japan Wired Broadcasting Awards. In 1994, her song "Tokyo" for Yashiki Takajin won the Yomiuri TV Best Award and Special Award at the All Japan Cable Broadcasting Awards. Takayuki Hattori
is a Japanese film, television, video game and non-soundtrack music composer, arranger and conductor. He is the son of the composer Katsuhisa Hattori and grandson of composer Ryoichi Hattori. He has won three Japan Academy Prize awards in the category Outstanding Achievement in Music and was the music director of the Japan Pavilion at the Expo 2010. Brian Robert Setzer (born April 10, 1959) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He found widespread success in the early 1980s with the 1950s-style rockabilly group Stray Cats, and returned to the music scene in the early 1990s with his swing revival band, the Brian Setzer Orchestra.
