LSV Berlin was a short-lived German association football club from the city of Berlin. The Gauliga Berlin-Brandenburg was the highest football league in the provinces of Brandenburg and Berlin in the German state of Prussia from 1933 to 1945. Shortly after the formation of the league, the Nazis reorganised the administrative regions in Germany, and the ''Gaue'' ''Brandenburg'' and ''Berlin'' replaced the Prussian provinces. Polizei SV Berlin was a German football club from the city of Berlin (SV is the abbreviation of 'Sportverein', i.e., sports club). The early 1920s saw the formation of sports clubs for police and postal workers which included the establishment on 1 June 1921 of '' Sport-Verein Schutzpolizei Berlin'' as the club of the city's police force.
