LM-49
The LM-49 (Russian ''ЛМ-49'') is the Soviet motor four-axle tramcar. The first prototype of this vehicle was built in 1949 (hence the 49 in the name) at the Leningrad Wagon Repair Plant (VARZ, ВАРЗ, Ленинградский Вагоноремонтный Завод - Russian abbreviature and full name). "LM" means ''Leningrad Motor'' tramcar. These tramcars were utilized in Leningrad itself and some other Soviet cities such as Minsk, Gorky] (now Nizhny Novgorod), Novokuznetsk and Magnitogorsk. VARZ produced in total 287 LM-49s for Leningrad and 113 for other cities. Inhabitants of Leningrad nicknamed LM-49 the "Elephant". Usually the LM-49 worked in pairs, pulling an unpowered wagon designated LP-49 (ЛП-49). The mass production of LM-49 ceased in 1960 when they were replaced by next model of VARZ, LM-57. LM-57
The LM-57 (Russian ''ЛМ-57'') is the Soviet motor four-axle tramcar. First prototype of this vehicle was built in 1957 (hence the 57 in the name) at the Leningrad Wagon Repair Plant (VARZ, ВАРЗ, Ленинградский Вагоноремонтный Завод - Russian abbreviature and full name). "LM" means ''Leningrad Motor'' tramcar. The VARZ produced nearly 800 LM-57s in 1957–1968. The LM-57 has streamlined forms, which were common for vehicles in many countries in the end of the 1950s. MTV-82
MTV-82 (russian: МТВ-82, with russian: МТВ, label=none standing for russian: Московский ТрамВай, Moskovskij TramVaj, Moscow Tram, label=none) is a Soviet four-axle tramcar. The first prototype of the MTV-82 tramcar was built at Military Factory No. 82 (from which the 82 in the model name is derived) in 1946. Mass production started in 1947 in Factory No. 82, and it was transferred to Rīgas Vagonbūves Rūpnīca (RVR; russian: Рижский Вагонный Завод, РВЗ) in 1949. In 1961 mass production of MTV-82 in Riga ceased, with production switching to its direct successor, the RVZ-6 tramcar. In total, Factory No. 82 and RVR produced 453 and 1707 MTV-82s respectively. LM-68M
LM-68M is a Soviet-made four axle tram (streetcar). LM stands for «Ленинградский Моторный», which is a motor car made in Leningrad. LM68M is a further development of an LM-68 tram. Production began in 1974 and continued until 1988. LM-68M trams work in St. Petersburg Technical specifics LM-68M is a wide gauge () high floor, continuously welded four axle tram. The T3 is a type of Czech tramcar produced by ČKD Tatra. A late-2000s study conducted on the Prague tram system has shown 98.9% reliability, the best of the Prague tram system fleet.
