The LKL Most Valuable Player Award is the annual award that is given by the professional Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL), to its Most Valuable Player of each regular season. Gediminas Orelik ( lt, Gediminas Orelikas) (born 14 May 1990) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Lietkabelis Panevėžys of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). He primarily plays at power forward position. Professional career At the conclusion of the Lithuanian League's 2012–13 season, Orelik won the league's season MVP award, after averaging 17.1 points per game, 5.4 rebounds per game, and 21.2 efficiency points per game. 2019–20 LKL Season
The 2019–20 Lietuvos krepšinio lyga, also called Betsafe-LKL for sponsorship reasons, was the 27th season of the top-tier level professional basketball league of Lithuania, the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL). On 13 March 2020, season was ended prematurely because of the coronavirus pandemic. Coronavirus pandemic On 13 March 2020, the board of the LKL decided to end the season because of the coronavirus pandemic. Along with this decision, they crowned regular season champions Žalgiris as the new Lithuanian champions. Competition format During the regular season, all teams play 32 games. The top eight teams in the regular season standings, after playing their entire 32 game schedule, qualified for the playoffs in the quarterfinals, that was played in a best-of-three games format. Martinas Geben (born October 20, 1994) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Baxi Manresa of the Liga ACB. He previously attended and played college basketball in the University of Notre Dame. College career Geben played four seasons at the University of Notre Dame. He was primarily used as a backup in his first two seasons for the Fighting Irish, and became a starter in his senior year. As a senior, he averaged 11.1 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. Laurynas Birutis (born 27 August 1997) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Žalgiris Kaunas of Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and the EuroLeague. The 2017–18 Lietuvos krepšinio lyga, also called Betsafe-LKL for sponsorship reasons, was the 25th season of the top-tier level professional basketball league of Lithuania, the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL). The season started in September 2017, and the last game of final series was played in 18 June 2018. Žalgiris is the defending champion. Competition format During the regular season, all teams will play 36 games. The top eight teams in the regular season standings, after playing their entire 36 game schedule, will each qualify for the playoffs in the quarterfinals, that will be played in a best-of-five games format. The semifinals will also be played in that format. The final round will be played between the two winners of the semifinals. The finals series, for first place, will be played in a best-of-seven format, while the series for third place will be played in a best-of-five format.

Jamar Anthony Diggs (born November 27, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for Alliance Sport Alsace of the LNB Pro B. College career Diggs played college basketball at Wayne State College and Wofford College. He graduated from Wofford College in 2011. Vytautas Šulskis (born August 8, 1988) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player. High school Born in Vilnius, Šulskis attended The Rock of Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Florida, where he played soccer and basketball. During his high school off-season Šulskis played AAU basketball for Florida Elite out of Tampa, Florida. Antanas Kavaliauskas (born September 19, 1984) is a Lithuanian professional basketball coach and former player. He serves as the director of player development for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). He played college basketball at Texas A&M University. Early years Antanas Kavaliauskas was born in Vilnius to Birutė Kavaliauskienė.
