LG Chocolate (ID90c)
LG Chocolate is a mobile phone created by LG Electronics, the first of the LG Black Label Series. It was released at the end of 2005 in South Korea, followed by an international GSM release in 2006 (the KG800), and a slightly altered CDMA model released for Verizon Wireless in the United States (the VX8500). The LG Chocolate is a 'slider' style phone that reveals touch sensitive buttons on its face, which activate upon sliding the phone open. The Chocolate was extremely popular worldwide due to its highly fashionable design, selling over 21 million handsets. Features and design The LG Chocolate is a feature phone in sliding style. LG Cyon
Cyon is LG Electronics' Korean mobile phone brand. LG established the brand in 1997. Like all other mobile phone brands in Korea, they feature the latest technologies such as cameras, Internet access, and TV through IP. Origin of the name From the original "Hwatong(화통)" it is renamed several times, into "Freeway" and then "CiON" or "CION", meaning a descendant of a noble blood. And then it is respelled into "CyON", and later to "CYON". Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO, EVDO, etc.) is a telecommunications standard for the wireless transmission of data through radio signals, typically for broadband Internet access. EV-DO is an evolution of the CDMA2000 (IS-2000) standard which supports high data rates and can be deployed alongside a wireless carrier's voice services. It uses advanced multiplexing techniques including code-division multiple access (CDMA) as well as time-division multiplexing (TDM) to maximize throughput. Since its acquisition by Rogers in 2004, it has operated as a Mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) using the Rogers Wireless network. Fido's logo is a yellow doghouse.
