LGV Montpellier–Perpignan
The LGV Montpellier–Perpignan is a proposed high-speed rail line between the French cities of Montpellier and Perpignan, at which points they will link with the Contournement Nîmes – Montpellier and Perpignan–Barcelona high-speed rail line, LGV Perpignan–Figueres. Two new stations would be constructed as part of the project in Béziers and Narbonne. Montpellier–Béziers and Rivesaltes–Toulouges will be for mixed traffic (freight and passenger), with Béziers–Toulouges being for passenger traffic only. Route Shortly after Montpellier-Sud de France station, trains will meet the LGV Montpellier–Perpignan near Lattes, Hérault, Maurin. A parkway station serving Béziers near the A9 autoroute, A9 and A75 autoroute, A75 junction is planned. Gare de Valence TGV ( IATA: XHK) is a railway station in Valence, France which offers regular TGV services. The station, located in eastern Valence ( Alixan), is about ten kilometres north-east from the town centre, allowing through trains to pass at full speed. With its opening in 2001, the station has considerably shortened travel times for travellers throughout eastern France.
