Jørgen Løvland
Jørgen Gunnarsson Løvland (3 February 1848 – 21 August 1922) was a Norwegian educator and civil servant of the Liberal Party who served as the 10th prime minister of Norway from 1907 to 1908. Background Løvland was born at Lauvland in Evje (''Lauvland i Evje herad'') in Aust-Agder, Norway. He came from a farming family. He graduated from Christianssands Stifts Seminarium teachers’ seminary in 1865. He worked as primary school teacher in Christianssand (1866-1878) and then as headmaster in Setesdal (1878-1884). From 1884 to 1892 he was also editor of ''Christianssands Stiftsavis''. Political career He represented the Liberal party at the Norwegian Parliament (''Storting'') 1886-1888 and again in 1892–1898. Rolf Løvland
Rolf Undsæt Løvland (born 19 April 1955) is a Norwegian composer, lyricist, arranger, and pianist. Together with Fionnuala Sherry, he formed the Celtic-Nordic group Secret Garden, in which he was the composer, producer, and keyboardist. He began composing at an early age (he formed a band at the age of nine) and grew up studying at the Kristiansand Music Conservatory, later receiving his master's degree from the Norwegian Institute of Music in Oslo. Notable songs Løvland has won the Eurovision Song Contest twice, resulting in Norway's first two titles. He composed the song "La det swinge" in 1985. He also composed the song "Nocturne" in 1995, as part of the duo Secret Garden. In 1985 Løvland was one of the composers behind the song "Tomorrow Will Be Better" (simplified Chinese: 明天会更好; pinyin: ''Míngtiān huì Gènghǎo''), a song directly inspired by the UK charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?" written the previous year by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure. ...

Helge Løvland
Helge Andreas Løvland (11 May 1890, Froland – 26 April 1984, Oslo) was a Norwegian track and field athlete. He won the gold medal in the decathlon at the 1920 Olympics. Løvland was awarded the Egebergs Ærespris in 1919. Representing the club IF Ørnulf, he died in Oslo in 1984.
