Paul Löbe
Paul Gustav Emil Löbe (14 December 1875 – 3 August 1967) was a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), a member and president of the Reichstag of the Weimar Republic, and member of the Bundestag of West Germany. He died in Bonn in 1967. Childhood through World War I Paul Löbe was the first of four children born to the carpenter Heinrich Löbe (1843–1898) and his wife Pauline, née Leuschner (1852–1947) in Liegnitz (since 1945 Legnica in Poland) in the Prussian province of Silesia. As a child he contributed to the family's income as an errand boy delivering newspapers and bread rolls. From his father he developed his political interests in workers' causes. Between 1882 and 1890 he attended elementary school in Liegnitz and then from 1890 to 1895 completed an apprenticeship as a typesetter at the plant where the newspaper was printed. János Löbe (born 21 August 1995) is a German professional footballer who plays as a defender and midfielder for Mittelrheinliga club SV Eintracht Hohkeppel. Career Youth and college Born in Kierspe, Germany, Löbe started his soccer career in the youth system of semi-professional club, Wuppertaler SV. He later moved to the United States to attend college at Fordham University, where he was a member of the varsity soccer team with his brother, Jannik. Bernd Loebe (born 15 December 1952) is a German music journalist and opera manager. After working as a journalist with a focus on opera and voice for the ''Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ)'', '' Neue Musikzeitung'', ''Opernwelt'' and Hessischer Rundfunk, he was artistic director of the opera house of Brussels, La Monnaie, from 1990, and has been Intendant of the Oper Frankfurt since 2002, where he encouraged a capable ensemble, international guest artists, and the production of rarely performed operas. He received the 2018 International Opera Award in the category Leadership in Opera. Loebe Julie
Loebe Julie (December 10, 1920 - June 7, 2015) was an American engineer who has been credited with inventing the first operational amplifier circuit with differential inputs (1943), a topology which allowed much greater versatility in applications circuits and remains in wide use today. Career After earning a BSEE from the City College of New York in 1941, Julie worked at the Army Signal Corps in Fort Monmouth, NJ, as a civilian engineer for two years. In 1943, NDRC Division 7 contracted Columbia University's Division of War Research to improve and simplify the multi-stage vacuum tube-based amplifier circuits designed by Karl D. Swartzel Jr. for use in the Western Electric M9 gun director. Encouraged by George A. Philbrick, who was part of the Division 7 team, Julie designed a circuit using two dual-triode vacuum tubes that not only had the novel feature of a differential input, but used fewer tubes, was much faster (100 kHz gain-bandwidth product) and more power efficient (2 ... Rebecca Ann Loebe (born August 17, 1983) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer. She has performed and toured with such recording artists as Shawn Colvin, The Civil Wars, Gregory Alan Isakov, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Ellis Paul amongst others. In 2011 she made her international broadcast television debut on The Voice (American TV series) . In addition to being a solo singer she is a founding member of Austin-based band ''Nobody's Girl''. Early life Loebe was born in Alexandria, Virginia to parents Albert Loebe and Cecelia Bonfils. She and her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia when she was eight years old.
