Lê Khắc Xương
Lê Khắc Xương (黎克昌, 1440 – 1476) was a prince of the Lê dynasty in Vietnam. He was the second prince of Emperor Lê Thái Tông, also elder brother of Emperor Lê Nhân Tông, and Emperor Lê Thánh Tông. He was given the title ''Cung vương'' (恭王, "Reverent Prince"). Biography Born in 1440, as a son of Emperor Lê Thái Tông and Lady Bùi thị of Đậu Liêu Bùi clan. His maternal grandfather is Bùi Cầm Hổ, one official in era of Emperor Lê Thái Tổ. In Thiên Hưng Coup in 1460, Prince Lê Nghi Dân killed Emperor Lê Nhân Tông and then became the fourth emperor of Lê dynasty with the name of Thiên Hưng Đế, but after 8 months of his reign, he was disposed by a group of officials – notably Lê Lăng, Nguyễn Xí, Đinh Liệt. The Lê dynasty, also known as Later Lê dynasty ( vi, Hậu Lê triều, chữ Hán: 後黎朝 or vi, nhà Hậu Lê, link=no, chữ Nôm: 茹後黎), was the longest-ruling Vietnamese dynasty, ruling Đại Việt from 1428 to 1789. Lê Nghi Dân
Marquis Lệ Đức ( vi, Lệ Đức hầu vi-hantu, 厲德侯, June 1439 – 6 June 1460), born Lê Nghi Dân (黎宜民), was the fourth emperor of the Lê dynasty in Vietnam. He ruled the country for a short time, about eight months, until he was deposed by a group of court officials. As he was deposed in a coup, he was not given a temple name. __TOC__ Biography He was the eldest son of Emperor Lê Thái Tông and Consort Dương Thị Bí. Nguyễn Xí ( vi-hantu, 阮熾; 1397–1465), or Lê Xí, was a general, politician, and public servant who served as a minister for four generations of rulers during the late Lê dynasty. He is considered a historical military genius of Vietnam. Biography Nguyễn Xí in Chinese means "Light of Light" was born in 1397. His grandfather was Nguyễn Hợp and his father was Nguyễn Hội. Lê Lợi (, Chữ Hán: 黎利; c. 10 September 1384/1385 – 5 October 1433), also known by his temple name as Lê Thái Tổ (黎太祖) and by his pre-imperial title Bình Định vương (平定王; "Prince of Pacification"), was a Vietnamese rebel leader who founded the Later Lê dynasty and became the first emperor of the restored kingdom of Đại Việt after it was conquered by the Ming dynasty.
