Nyíregyháza (, sk, Níreďháza) is a city with county rights in northeastern Hungary and the county capital of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg. The 2019–20 Nemzeti Bajnokság I (also known as 2019–20 OTP Bank Liga), also known as NB I, was the 121st season of top-tier football in Hungary. The league was officially named ''OTP Bank Liga'' for sponsorship reasons. Ferencváros were the defending champions. The season was postponed on 16 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed on 23 May. Teams MTK Budapest and Szombathelyi Haladás finished the 2018–19 Nemzeti Bajnokság I in the last two places and thus were relegated to NB II division. The 2017–18 Nemzeti Bajnokság III is Hungary's third-level football competition. On 20 June 2017, the play-offs finished and the full tables were formed. On 26 June 2017, it was announced that the Hungarian Football Federation did not accept the of Szigetszentmiklósi TK. On 12 July 2017, the Hungarian Football Federation issued the three groups of the 2017–18 season. On 28 March 2018, the STC Salgótarján announced its withdrawal from the 2017–18 Nemzeti Bajnokság III season. The results for STC Salgótarján were deleted for the entire season due to their withdrawal. The 2015–16 Nemzeti Bajnokság III was Hungary's third-level football competition. The championship was won by Ferencvárosi TC II, Kozármisleny SE, and Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC. However, Ferencvárosi TC II could not promote to the 2016–17 Nemzeti Bajnokság II since reserve teams can only play in the Nemzeti Bajnokság III.
