László Fábián (canoeist)
László Fábián (10 July 1936 in Budapest – 10 August 2018) was a Hungarian sprint canoeist who competed from the late 1950s to the late 1960s. He won a gold medal in the K-2 10000 m at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne. He was Jewish. A canoe is a lightweight narrow watercraft, water vessel, typically pointed at both ends and open on top, propelled by one or more seated or kneeling paddlers facing the direction of travel and using a single-bladed paddle.
