Lárus Guðmundsson (born 12 December 1961) is an Icelandic former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football), striker. Club career Guðmundsson started his career at Knattspyrnufélagið Víkingur, Víkingur and later became successful in the German Bundesliga with KFC Uerdingen 05, Bayer Uerdingen and 1. FC Kaiserslautern. International career He made his debut for Iceland national football team, Iceland in 1980 and went on to win 17 caps, scoring three goals.
