Lauren Mandel (born November 6, 1997), known by her stage name LØLØ, is a Canadian singer-songwriter. Having built an audience via TikTok, she has released two EPs and one album with Hopeless Records. Her sound is influenced by pop-punk and alternative rock. Early life Born and raised in Toronto, Mandel was drawn to singing and performing from a young age and began playing guitar in her freshman year of high school. At the encouragement of her guitar teacher, she began using her journal entries as a basis for writing songs. Mandel got her start performing at open mics around Toronto. She initially used the stage name Lo Lo, but later stylized it as LØLØ to avoid conflict with the preexisting American singer Lolo.
