Lynne Roberts (basketball)
Lynne Renee Roberts (born August 28, 1975) is the women's basketball head coach at the University of Utah. She has also served as head coach at Chico State and Pacific. Early life and education Roberts was born and raised in Redding, California. She would attend Enterprise High where she would earn 12 varsity letters and was awarded the 1993 Northern Section Player of the Year. Roberts attended Seattle Pacific University, where she played for the Falcons. During her time with the Falcons (1993-1997), Roberts set a school record for 3-pointers made in one season at 82 and for three-point percentage in a game when she made 7 of 8 against Willamette. Roberts regards her most memorable moment at college when she made the game winning 3-pointers to defeat Division I's UC Davis Aggies. Roberts graduated in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in history. The Utah Utes women's basketball team represents University of Utah in women's basketball. West Coast Conference
The West Coast Conference (WCC) — known as the California Basketball Association from 1952 to 1956 and then as the West Coast Athletic Conference until 1989 — is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I consisting of ten member schools across the states of California, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. All of the current members are private, faith-based institutions. Seven members are Catholic Church affiliates, with four of these schools being Jesuit institutions. 2015 Women's National Invitation Tournament
The 2015 Women's National Invitation Tournament was a single-elimination tournament of 64 NCAA Division I teams that were not selected to participate in the 2015 Women's NCAA tournament. The annual tournament began on March 18 and ended on April 4, with the championship game televised on CBS Sports Network. All games were played on the campus sites of participating schools. The Tournament was won by the UCLA Bruins who defeated the West Virginia Mountaineers, 62–60, in the final before a crowd of 8,658 at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, West Virginia, on April 4. The 2014–15 Pacific Tigers women's basketball team will represent the University of the Pacific during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Tigers come off of a season of new beginnings after they rejoined the West Coast Conference. Despite the new conference, the Tigers placed third in the WCC and made the WNIT for the third consecutive season. 2013–14 Pacific Tigers Women's Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Pacific Tigers women's basketball team represented the University of the Pacific during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Tigers had a season of new beginnings as they joined a new conference- the West Coast Conference. Pacific was one of the founders of what became the WCC. After four decades the Tigers returned, allowing the WCC to return to a travel partner scenario. Pacific and Saint Mary's became travel partners. The other 4 sets of travel partners were San Francsico and Santa Clara, Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine, Gonzaga and Portland, and BYU and San Diego. The 2012 Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) was a single-elimination tournament of 64 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I teams that did not participate in the 2012 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament. The tournament were played entirely on campus sites. The highest ranked team in each conference that did not receive a bid to the NCAA Tournament received an automatic bid to this tournament. Pacific Tigers
The Pacific Tigers represent the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, in intercollegiate athletics. The Tigers compete in NCAA Division I, and are currently in their second stint as members of the West Coast Conference (WCC). Lisa Mispley Fortier (born April 5, 1981) is an American basketball coach, currently the head coach of the women's basketball team at Gonzaga University. Early life and education Fortier, born Lisa Mispley, is the oldest of three children to Bill and Tami Mispley. Fortier played basketball at Placer High School before playing at both Butte College, Butte Community College and California State University, Monterey Bay.
