Lynn Wardlow
Lynn D. Wardlow (born November 11, 1943) is an American politician who served as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, where he represented District 38B from 2003 to 2009. The district includes over half of the city of Eagan, Minnesota, Eagan in Dakota County, Minnesota, Dakota County, which is in the southeastern part of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. A Republican Party of Minnesota, Republican, he was elected to the open seat vacated by Tim Pawlenty, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty in 2002. Early life and education Before running for political office, Wardlow was a middle school and high school mathematics teacher and coach for over 30 years in the Rosemount-Eagan-Apple Valley School District. Tim Pawlenty
Timothy James Pawlenty (; born November 27, 1960) is an American attorney, businessman, and politician who served as the 39th governor of Minnesota from 2003 to 2011. A member of the Republican Party, Pawlenty served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1993 to 2003, and as House Majority Leader from 1999 to 2003. He unsuccessfully ran for the Republican presidential nomination in the 2012 presidential election. As of 2022, he is the most recent Republican to serve as governor of Minnesota. Douglas G. Wardlow (born July 3, 1978) is an American attorney and politician who served as a Minnesota state representative from District 38B. Wardlow was the unsuccessful Republican nominee in the 2018 Minnesota Attorney General election. Early life and education Wardlow graduated from Eagan High School in Eagan, Minnesota, where he was one of the four valedictorians of his class. He attended Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., studied Mandarin Chinese at Beijing University in Beijing, China, and graduated '' magna cum laude'' from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Political Theory with a minor in Mandarin Chinese.
