Lynden Trail
Lynden Antonio Trail (born March 19, 1991) is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans in 2015. He played college football at Norfolk State University. He was also member of the Washington Redskins and Los Angeles Rams. Professional career Houston Texans After going unselected in the 2015 NFL Draft, Trail signed with the Houston Texans. On September 11, 2015, the team released him with an injury settlement. Washington Redskins Trail was signed to the Washington Redskins' practice squad on October 5, 2015. He was released on October 12 but was re-signed back to the team's practice squad on November 23, 2015. Trail signed a futures contract with the Redskins on January 11, 2016. On September 3, 2016, Trail was waived by the Redskins, but was re-signed with their practice squad a day later. The team waived him again on September 19. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). Norfolk State University (NSU) is a public historically black university in Norfolk, Virginia. It is a member of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Virginia High-Tech Partnership. History The institution was founded on September 18, 1935 as the Norfolk Unit of Virginia Union University. Eighty-five students attended the first classes held in 1935. The Spring League
The Spring League was an American football developmental league and scouting event (pro showcase) that played from 2017 to 2021 and was founded by Brian Woods. Aimed at professional athletes but not paying a salary or expenses, the league's goal was to "serve as an instructional league and showcase for professional football talent". The Spring League was the second football property to be established by Woods, following the Fall Experimental Football League (FXFL) from 2014 to 2015 and preceding the United States Football League revival in 2022. The league consisted of three to eight teams and played an abbreviated four to six game "season" in April or May.
