Lyndal Davies
Lyndal Davies (born 1967 in Brisbane, Australia) is a journalist. From 1991, she has been making cinema and video of wildlife inspired by Jane Goodall and Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente. Davies is a wildlife presenter for Animal Planet. She hosts Animal Planet's ''Lyndal’s Lifeline'' where she travels to remote, countries to help wildlife sanctuaries that are in trouble and to bring an awareness about the animals that are rare in species. Davies's love of nature began in Queensland, Australia, where she grew up. She spent her childhood rescuing animals and then went to journalism school in Queensland at Queensland University of Technology and spent the next ten years making wildlife documentaries. Most of the time her crew was only one cameraman and Davies would host, produce, and edit the documentaries herself. The money from each project went into the next project. Anna Nicole Smith (born Vickie Lynn Hogan; November 28, 1967 – February 8, 2007) was an American model, actress, and television personality. Smith started her career as a ''Playboy'' magazine centerfold in May 1992 and won the title of 1993 Playmate of the Year. She later modeled for fashion companies, including Guess, H&M, and Heatherette. Smith dropped out of high school in 1984, married in 1985 and divorced in 1993. Ryde is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales. It includes the suburbs and localities of Denistone, Denistone East, Denistone West, Macquarie Park, Marsfield, Meadowbank, Melrose Park, Ryde, North Ryde, West Ryde; and parts of Eastwood and Epping. It is currently represented by Victor Dominello of the Liberal Party. Lyndal Osborne (born 1940) is a Canadian artist based in Edmonton, Alberta. Her works include BioArt, Sculpture, Video art, and multimedia. She applies many different artistic methods and often uses recycled or found objects as her materials. Osborne's' installation work speaks of the forces of transformation within nature and provides a commentary on issues relating to the environment. In her more recent works, Osborne has also examined the issues of genetically modified organisms as subject matter. Her research centres on gender and the Reformation, witchcraft, and visual culture. In 2011 she was appointed to Regius Chair of History at the University of Oxford, the first woman and first Australian to hold this position.
