Lycée Hubert Clément
Lycée Hubert Clément ( en, Hubert Clément High School), abbreviated to LHCE, is a high school in Esch-sur-Alzette, in south-western Luxembourg. It was founded as a single-sex girls school in 1955, paralleling Esch's all-boys school, Lycée de Garçons Esch-sur-Alzette, and was named Lycée de Jeunes Filles à Esch-sur-Alzette. Since the school became coeducational in 1970 and renamed the following year, the gender balance has been steadily eroded, particularly in mathematics (in which the majority of students are now boys). Namaste (theater group) The youth theater group of the Lycée Hubert Clément was created in its present form in 1973. In 1991, the group was established, under the name "Namasté", as a separate theater group and community non-profit organisation. Lydia Mutsch (born 17 August 1961 in Dudelange) is a Luxembourgish politician. She served as Minister of Health and Minister for Equal Opportunities in the Bettel-Schneider ministry from December 2013 until December 2018. Lydia Mutsch studied in Göttingen. She has been a member of the national legislature, the Chamber of Deputies, in which she has sat since being first elected in 1989 until her appointment as Minister of Health. Simone Asselborn-Bintz (born 24 January 1966 in Esch-sur-Alzette) is a Luxembourgian educator and politician of the Luxembourg Socialist Workers' Party. Désirée Nosbusch a.k.a. Désirée Becker (born 14 January 1965) is a Luxembourger actress and television presenter. She was born in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg to a Luxembourgish father and Italian mother. In the 1980s she lived in Manhattan, and from the 1990s to 2008 in Los Angeles, California. Xavier Bettel (; born 3 March 1973) is a Luxembourger lawyer and politician serving as Prime Minister of Luxembourg since 2013.
