LuvBug
LuvBug is an English electronic dance music trio consisting of London-born DJ & producer Marvin Humes, Manchester-based producer White N3rd and producer/songwriter JKAY. Career Humes and JKAY grew up in Woolwich, East London with JKAY becoming part of the songwriting/producing duo Tracklacers. They worked with producers including Danja (Justin Timberlake, Usher) and Afrojack (David Guetta, Major Lazer) and also produced early material for JLS, the pop/R&B boy band Humes was formerly a part of. N3rd has produced remixes for Diplo and Azealia Banks and was introduced to Humes through songwriter Ali Tennant (Guetta). In April 2013, the trio came together at a London-based studio and started working on material. Marvin Richard James Humes (born 18 March 1985) is an English singer, disc jockey, television presenter and radio host who used to present the Monday–Thursday late night show across the Capital Network. He previously hosted ''The Official Big Top 40'' chart show across UK commercial radio stations on a Sunday afternoon, between 2013 & 2018. He is best known as a member of the 4-piece boyband JLS, the runner-up boyband to Alexandra Burke in the fifth series of ''The X Factor''. After a successful five years, JLS split in December 2013, but reunited in February 2020. Talay Riley is a British singer-songwriter. Career At the age of 18, Talay Riley signed his first major publishing deal with Global Publishing. JLS (band)
JLS (an initialism of Jack the Lad Swing) are an English boyband, which consists of members Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams, Marvin Humes, and JB Gill, originally formed by Williams. They initially signed to Tracklacers production company New Track City and then went on to become runners-up of the fifth series of the ITV reality talent show ''The X Factor'' in 2008, coming second to Alexandra Burke. Following their appearance on ''The X Factor'', JLS signed to Epic Records. Their first two singles "Beat Again" and "Everybody in Love" both went to number one on the UK Singles Chart. JLS Discography
The discography of English boy band JLS comprises four studio albums, one greatest hits album and fourteen singles. JLS's manager thought the band would be well-suited to Epic Records, with whom they signed a record contract in January 2009. JLS released "Beat Again" as the debut single in July, only six months after the band had signed with the label. It reached number one on the UK Singles Chart on 19 July 2009. On 9 November 2009, JLS released their eponymously titled debut album, ''JLS''. The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' EPOS systems. All major record shops, digital retailers and streaming services contribute to the chart, accounting for over 95% of the market. Scouting for Girls are an English pop rock band. Their name is a play on the title of the 1908 Scouting handbook ''Scouting for Boys''. The band was formed in 2005 by three childhood friends from London, Roy Stride on piano and lead guitar/vocals, Greg Churchouse on bass guitar and Peter Ellard on Drums.
