Luther Bradley (other)
Luther Alexander Bradley (born May 7, 1955) is an American former professional American football, football player who was a cornerback for four seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Detroit Lions. He later played with the Chicago Blitz, Arizona Wranglers and Houston Gamblers of the United States Football League (USFL). He is the USFL's all-time interception leader. Bradley earned the designation of a consensus All-American in 1977 Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team, 1977 for the national championship Notre Dame Fighting Irish. In gridiron football, defensive backs (DBs), also called the secondary, are the players on the defensive side of the ball who play farthest back from the line of scrimmage. They are distinguished from the other two sets of defensive players, the defensive linemen who play directly on the line of scrimmage, and the linebackers, who play in the middle of the defense, between the defensive line and the defensive backs. A touchdown (abbreviated as TD) is a scoring play in gridiron football. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone. In American football, a touchdown is worth six points and is followed by an extra point or two-point conversion attempt. Everett Bradley is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, choreographer and playwright. He is currently a touring member of the rock band Bon Jovi. Biography Born in South Carolina, Bradley attended Indiana University on a vocal scholarship. He first came to the East Coast to play with John Eddie. He has toured as a background vocalist and percussionist with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Jon Bon Jovi, and Hall & Oates. United States Football League
The United States Football League (USFL) was a professional American football league that played for three seasons, 1983 through 1985. The league played a spring/summer schedule in each of its active seasons. The 1986 season was scheduled to be played in the autumn/winter, directly competing against the long-established National Football League (NFL). However, the USFL ceased operations before that season was scheduled to begin. The ideas behind the USFL were conceived in 1965 by New Orleans businessman David Dixon, who saw a market for a professional football league that would play in the summer, when the National Football League and college football were in their off-season. Dixon had been a key player in the construction of the Louisiana Superdome and the expansion of the NFL into New Orleans in 1967.
