Hugh Lusk
Hugh Hart Lusk (1837 – 8 September 1926) was a 19th-century Member of Parliament from the Auckland Region in New Zealand. A barrister and solicitor, he represented the Franklin electorate from 18 January 1876 to 16 April 1878, when he resigned. Lusk married Mary Butler in Mangonui in November 1864. Four months earlier, in the same church, his elder brother Daniel had married Mary's elder sister Ellen. Hugh and Mary's sons Hugh and Harold played first-class cricket in New Zealand. Lusk moved to Australia in 1890 and later to the United States, where he lived for many years before returning to Auckland. Works Lusk wrote under the pseudonym Owen Hall. Eddie James Lusk, Jr. known professionally as Professor Eddie Lusk (September 21, 1948 – August 26, 1992) was an American Chicago blues musician. An ordained minister, Lusk carved out a successful career in the blues and variously worked with Luther Allison, Buddy Guy, Jimmy Johnson, Koko Taylor, Phil Guy, Jimmy Dawkins, Sunnyland Slim, Michael Coleman, Fenton Robinson, Syl Johnson, and Otis Rush. Paul Lusk (born November 14, 1971) is an American men's basketball coach and former point guard, who is a current assistant men's basketball coach for the Purdue Boilermakers. He played college basketball at Iowa from 1991 to 1993 before transferring to Southern Illinois where he played from 1993 to 1995 for head coach Rich Herrin. He then served as the head coach of the Missouri State Bears (2011–2018). Robert Martin Lusk (1851–1913) was a lawyer, politician and judge in Texas and California. Lusk was born in Bradley County, Tennessee, in 1851. He attended Hiwassee College and was graduated from the law department at Cumberland University, both in Tennessee. He practiced law in Dalton, Georgia, and in Bonham, Texas, where he was elected mayor and was then prosecuting attorney for the county. In 1885 he was elected to the Texas State Legislature.
