''Lunegrade'' is a 1946 French drama film directed by Marc Allégret starring Gaby Morlay, Jean Tissier and Saturnin Fabre. It is based on a novel by Pierre Benoit. Marc Allégret (22 December 1900 – 3 November 1973) was a French screenwriter, photographer and film director. Biography Born in Basel, Basel-Stadt, Switzerland, he was the elder brother of Yves Allégret. Girard maintained a studio in Venice in 1936–37 and in Manhattan in 1938. Back in France he was not called up in 1939. After the Battle of France, M. Girard removed to Antibes, then a free-zone and set up a network which provided recruiting and spying work for the French resistance.
