Lund Chapel
Lund Chapel ( no, Lund kapell) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Namsos municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Lund. It is an annex church for the Fosnes parish which is part of the Namdal prosti ( deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1965. The church seats about 105 people. History In 1965, the old Opløyfjorden Chapel was taken down and moved from Østre Bogen to Lund, about to the west, near the mouth of the fjord. The materials (first used in the old Kolvereid Church in 1658 and then reused as Opøyfjorden Chapel in 1874) were then reused again to build the new Lund Chapel to serve the extreme southern part of Nærøy municipality. In 2020, the municipal borders were changed and this chapel became part of Namsos Municipality and the Fosnes parish. This list of churches in Nidaros is a list of the Church of Norway churches in the Diocese of Nidaros which covers all of Trøndelag county in Norway. The list is divided into several sections, one for each deanery in the diocese. Administratively within each deanery, the churches are divided by municipalities which have their own church council and then into parishes which have their own councils . Each parish may have one or more congregations in it. The municipality of Trondheim includes several deaneries within the municipality due to its large population. Historically, the diocese has had many deaneries, but the number of deaneries has been reduced in recent years. Nærøy () is a former municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 2020 when it joined Nærøysund Municipality. It was part of the Namdalen region. Norway's smallest town, Kolvereid, was the administrative centre of the municipality. Some villages in Nærøy included Abelvær, Foldereid, Gravvik, Lund, Ottersøy, Salsbruket, Steine, and Torstad. Kolvereid Church
Kolvereid Church ( no, Kolvereid kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Nærøysund municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the town of Kolvereid. It is the one of the churches for the Nærøy parish which is part of the Namdal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1874 using plans drawn up by the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. The church seats about 350 people.
