Lunch Break is a Philippine noontime show produced by the company Mateo Management Group through its MMG Entertainment Group division aired over Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation, IBC from November 4, 2000, until December 12, 2003. the show competed against ABS-CBN's ''MTB (TV program)#Magandang Tanghali Bayan (1998–2003), Magandang Tanghali Bayan'' (which was later reformatted as ''MTB (TV program)#Masayang Tanghali Bayan (2003–2004), Masayang Tanghali Bayan'' during the show's final year) and GMA Network's ''Eat Bulaga!'' History Early years (2000–2001) After its predecessor ''Alas Dose sa Trese'' ended its run on November 3, 2000, the Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation and Mateo Management Group co-produced a brand new variety show.
