"I for You" is the eleventh single by Japanese rock band Luna Sea, released on July 1, 1998. It reached number 2 on the Oricon Singles Chart and was the 49th best-selling single of the year. It was the third and last in a serial release after the band's hibernation from 1997 to early 1998. Overview Original scores for "I for You" were composed by Sugizo as an orchestrated version; although it was first written around 1993, it had not been considered for recording until later, when an opportunity appeared for creating a theme song for a TV drama. The final version of the song was furnished with revisions by Ryuichi. Sugizo's mother is featured playing the cello. Masami Tsuchiya
is a Japanese singer-songwriter and musician, coming to prominence in the late 1970s as the lead vocalist and guitarist in the group Ippu-Do. His subsequent output includes solo work and collaborations. Tsuchiya's career in music started with a brief stint aged 17 in 1969 as a roadie and stand-in guitarist with The Golden Cups. However, it was discovered that he had lied about his age when his family tracked him down so he was forced to leave the band. In 1972 Tsuchiya was recruited by Nobu Saito to work as a session guitarist, going on to record and tour with Lily and the Bye Bye Session band (one of the other members was Ryuichi Sakamoto) and became a regular member of Junko Ohashi and Minoya Central Station, leaving in 1978 with the formation of Ippu-Do. Sid (band)
is a Japanese visual kei Rock music, rock band, formed in 2003 and signed to Sony Records. Background SID (シド) was founded in 2003 by vocalist Mao (ex-Shula) and bassist Aki (ex-Ram Rem). They were joined by two support members, guitarist Shinji (ex-Uranus) and drummer Yuuya (ex-Shula). The four of them released the band's first demo CD, ''Yoshigai Manabu 17-sai (Mushoku)'' (吉開学 17歳 (無職)), on mini-disc that August and soon after, they signed on with Danger Crue Records. Though SID technically began in 2003, the band considers January 14, 2004 the date of their 'birth' as it was announced at their show at the Meguro Rock May Kan that Shinji and Yuuya would be joining as official members. Marty Friedman (born December 8, 1962) is an American guitarist, best known for his tenure as the lead guitarist for thrash metal band Megadeth from 1990 to 2000. He is also known for playing alongside Jason Becker in Cacophony from 1986 until 1989, as well as his 13 solo albums and tours. Friedman has resided in Tokyo, Japan since 2003, where he has appeared on over 700 Japanese television programs such as '' Rock Fujiyama'', ''Hebimeta-san'', ''Kōhaku Uta Gassen'' and ''Jukebox English''. "Love Song" is the fourteenth single by Japanese rock band Luna Sea, released on November 8, 2000. It turned out to be the band's last single, as they held a press conference on the day of its release and announced they would be disbanding. They later reunited in 2010, and released " The One -Crash to Create-" in 2012. "Love Song" reached number 4 on the Oricon Singles Chart, and charted for five weeks. TRF (band)
TRF (an abbreviation of Tetsuya Komuro Rave Factory) is a Japanese pop band. Its members are DJ Koo, Sam, Etsu, Yu-ki and Chiharu. History The band debuted as "trf" in the year 1993. During the period of 1994 to 1995, the band released 5 singles produced by Tetsuya Komuro, each selling over a million copies under the Avex record label.
