Lumix DMC-FZ70
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ70 or Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ72 is a DSLR-like ultrazoom bridge camera announced by Panasonic on July 18, 2013. It succeeds the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ62. FZ70 and FZ72 refer to the same camera model in different markets. The FZ70/72 has a 16 megapixel sensor and 20-1200mm equivalent, 60x optical zoom lens. Its successor is the FZ82 with a 18 megapixel sensor, 4K video and the same 60x optical zoom lens. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ60 or Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ62 is a DSLR-like superzoom, ultrazoom bridge camera announced by Panasonic back in 2012. FZ60 is for Americas and Asia-Pacific, while the FZ62 is for Europe and CIS. The highest-resolution pictures it records is 16.1 megapixels, through its 25mm Leica Camera, Leica DC VARIO-ELMARIT. DSLR
A digital single-lens reflex camera (digital SLR or DSLR) is a digital camera that combines the optics and the mechanisms of a single-lens reflex camera with a digital imaging sensor. The reflex design scheme is the primary difference between a DSLR and other digital cameras. In the reflex design, light travels through the lens and then to a mirror that alternates to send the image to either a prism, which shows the image in the viewfinder, or the image sensor when the shutter release button is pressed. The viewfinder of a DSLR presents an image that will not differ substantially from what is captured by the camera's sensor as it presents it as a direct optical view through the main camera lens, rather than showing an image through a separate secondary lens. Superzoom
A superzoom or ultrazoom lens is a type of photographic zoom lens with unconventionally large focal length factors, typically ranging from wide angle to extreme long lens focal lengths in one lens. There is no clear definition of a superzoom lens, but the name generally covers lenses that have a range well above the 3× or 4× of a standard zoom lens, with lenses being 10×, 12×, 18×, or above considered superzoom. Due to trade-offs in the optical design, superzoom lenses are noted for having poorer optical quality at the extreme focal length ranges, mostly distortion at max wide angle and long lens ranges. Bridge Camera
Bridge cameras are cameras that fill the niche between relatively simple point-and-shoot cameras and interchangeable-lens cameras such as mirrorless cameras and single-lens reflex cameras (SLRs). They are often comparable in size and weight to the smallest digital SLRs (DSLR), but lack interchangeable lenses, and almost all digital bridge cameras lack an optical viewfinder system. The phrase "bridge camera" has been in use at least since the 1980s, and continues to be used with digital cameras.
