John R. (born John Richbourg, August 20, 1910 - February 15, 1986) was an American radio disc jockey who attained fame in the 1950s and 1960s for playing rhythm and blues music on Nashville radio station WLAC. He was also a notable record producer and artist manager. Richbourg was arguably the most popular and charismatic of the four announcers at WLAC who showcased popular African-American music in nightly programs from the late 1940s to the early 1970s. (The other three were Gene Nobles, Herman Grizzard, and Bill "Hoss" Allen.) Later rock music disc jockeys, such as Alan Freed and Wolfman Jack, mimicked Richbourg's practice of using speech that simulated African-American street language of the mid-twentieth century. Paul Lukacs (born Lukács Pàl; he, פאול לוקאץ'; 23 April 1918 – 1982) ''Palestine, Illegal Immigration from German-Occupied Europe, 1938-1945 (USHMM)'' was a Hungarian-Israeli mathematician, analyst and composer of problems in the "play of the hand" at contract bridge. Pál Lukács ( hu, Lukács Pál; 27 April 1919 in – 22 May 1981) was a Hungarian people, Hungarian viola virtuoso, concert and recording artist, and music educator. Lukács studied voice, and also violin with Imre Waldbauer at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. He switched to viola in 1935 after hearing a viola performance by Lionel Tertis accompanied by pianist Clifford Curzon. In 1936 he became a member of the Hungarian State Opera House, Hungarian State Opera Orchestra. Lukács joined the faculty of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in 1946 as a music teacher, and the following year was appointed the first Professor of Viola by the academy, a position he held until 1981. Mária Bajzek Lukács ( sl, Marija Bajzek Lukač; January 24, 1960) is a Hungarian Slovene language writer and university professor. She was born in Szentgotthárd and spent her childhood in Felsőszölnök. Between 1974 and 1978, she attended the Serbo-Croatian High School in Budapest. In 1978, she started her studies in Ljubljana, and in 1983 received a Slovene and Serbo-Croatian teaching degree. Until 1988, Bajzek Lukács was the editor of ''Narodne Novine.''
