Konstantina Bequary "Konnie" Lukes (born October 13, 1941) is an American politician who served fifteen two-year terms as a Councilor-At-Large in the city of Worcester, Massachusetts, Worcester, Massachusetts. She also served as Mayor of Worcester, Massachusetts, the city's mayor from 2007 to 2009. Early life Lukes is the daughter of two Albanians, Albanian immigrants. She was born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut and worked in her parents' restaurant while attending public school. Nathan Donald Lukes (born July 12, 1994) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2023. High school and college Lukes grew up in Antelope, California and attended Center High School. He enrolled at California State University, Sacramento and played college baseball for the Sacramento State Hornets for three seasons. He was named All- Western Athletic Conference (WAC) after hitting .347 with 26 RBIs and 54 runs scored in his sophomore season.
