Luke Steckel
Luke E. Steckel (born April 28, 1985) is an American football coach and former player who is the tight ends coach for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Princeton and got his first coaching job with the Cleveland Browns in 2009. Early life and education Steckel was born on April 28, 1985, in Boston, Massachusetts. Steckel's family moved multiple times while he grew up, as his father Les, was a coach in the National Football League (NFL). He attended high school at Brentwood in Tennessee. He played linebacker and was named team captain as a senior. In his final game, the state championship, Steckel intercepted a pass at the end of the game to seal a 10–7 win. He was offered multiple scholarships following high school, including from Penn and Yale. He accepted an offer from Princeton on February 3, 2003. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. Missouri State Bears Football
The Missouri State Bears football program is the college football team that represents Missouri State University located in Springfield, Missouri, United States. Missouri State competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and are members of the Missouri Valley Football Conference. The school was known as Southwest Missouri State until 2005 when they changed the name to Missouri State. Dave Steckel (American Football)
Dave Steckel is an American football coach and former player. He was recently the head coach at Missouri State University. Prior to that, he spent 14 seasons on the staff at the University of Missouri. His other coaching stops include Miami University of Ohio, Ball State University, the University of Minnesota, Dickinson College, Lehigh University, the University of Toledo, and Rutgers University. Coaching career Steckel's coaching career started shortly after his playing career ended at Kutztown in 1982. He got his start as a graduate assistant at Miami (OH). 2021 Tennessee Titans Season
The 2021 season was the Tennessee Titans' 52nd season in the National Football League, their 62nd overall, their 25th in the state of Tennessee, and their fourth under head coach Mike Vrabel. 2012 Cleveland Browns Season
The 2012 Cleveland Browns season was the franchise's 64th season as a professional sports franchise and its 60th season as a member of the National Football League.
