Luke Saville
Luke Saville (born 1 February 1994) is an Australian professional tennis player. He has had success as a doubles player where he reached his highest ranking of World No. 23 on 8 November 2021. Saville reached the final at the 2020 Australian Open, partnering with fellow Australian Max Purcell. As a junior, Saville enjoyed a successful career in which he won two junior grand slam singles titles at the 2011 Wimbledon Championships and 2012 Australian Open respectively. Saville is also a former junior World No. 1 and an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder. In January 2013, he competed in his first ATP main draw event at the 2013 Australian Open, but has struggled in transitioning from Juniors onto the professional circuit, reaching his highest singles ranking of World No. 152. 2021 French Open – Mixed Doubles
Desirae Krawczyk and Joe Salisbury defeated Elena Vesnina and Aslan Karatsev in the final, 2–6, 6–4, 0–5to win the mixed doubles title at the 2021 French Open. It was Krawczyk's first major title, and was Salisbury's first major title in mixed doubles. Additionally, this was Vesnina's first major final since returning from pregnancy, and Karatsev's first major final in any discipline. Vesnina and Karatsev were the first Russian team to reach the French Open mixed doubles final. Latisha Chan and Ivan Dodig were the two-time defending champions, but lost in the first round to Demi Schuurs and Wesley Koolhof. Daria Saville (née Gavrilova, born 5 March 1994) is an Australian professional tennis player. She represented Russia until 2015, before emigrating to Australia. She competed under her maiden name until her marriage to Luke Saville in 2021. On 28 August 2017, she reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 20. The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. The 2011 Wimbledon Championships was a tennis tournament played on grass courts at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London in the United Kingdom. Max Purcell (born 3 April 1998) is an Australian professional tennis player. He won his first Grand Slam title at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships in doubles alongside Matthew Ebden. The pair also finished runners-up at the 2022 Australian Open, and Purcell previously reached the final at the 2020 Australian Open with Luke Saville. He reached his career-high doubles ranking of world No. 25 in April 2022, and has won two titles on the ATP Tour, finishing runner-up on four further occasions.
