Luke Roskell
Luke Roskell (born 4 February 1997) is an English actor. He is known for playing Sean Spencer in the soap opera ''Emmerdale'' (2011–2014), and for his role as Pepper Sharrow in the 2017 historical drama '' Jamestown''. Personal life Born in Knowsley, Merseyside in 1997 and raised in nearby Grappenhall in Warrington, Cheshire. He studied at Broomfields Junior School and Bridgewater High School. Luke is the second of four children, as his mother, Andrea, has three other children, including one older brother and two younger twin siblings. Career Roskell had his first acting role in the ITV miniseries ''Mobile'' in 2007; the following year, he was part of the main cast of TV series ''The Revenge Files of Alistair Fury'', broadcast by BBC One and the CBBC Channel; he played the role of Aaron Pryce, a friend of main character Alistair Fury (played by Jonathan Mason). Knowsley, Merseyside
Knowsley is a large village and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley, Merseyside, England, commonly known as Knowsley Village. Historically part of Lancashire, at the 2001 Census it had a population of 11,343. It gave its name to the wider borough when it was formed in 1974. The parish includes Knowsley Hall and Knowsley Safari Park. There are three main built-up areas in the parish: the village of Knowsley, the nearby business park in the north west, and in the south-west a suburban area including Stockbridge Village and the northern fringe of Huyton. Bruntwood Prize For Playwriting
The Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting is a British competition for playwriting, the largest of its kind in Europe—in 2019 it received 2561 entries. Since its inception in 2005, more than 15,000 scripts have been entered, £304,000 has been awarded to 34 prize-winning writers, and 24 winning productions have been staged in 38 UK-wide venues. In 2015 the prize celebrated its 10th anniversary and is now recognised as a launch-pad for some of the country's most respected and produced playwrights.
