Luke Jericho
Luke Jericho (born 18 October 1984) is an Australian rules footballer, formerly for Adelaide in the AFL. He was recruited as a second round pick in the 2002 AFL Draft, selection number 32 overall. He made his debut in 2004, against St Kilda, and kicked a goal on debut. He ended up playing 15 games for the year, and scoring 10 goals. Jericho now plays for Norwood in the SANFL. In 2005, he played just the 5 games, scoring 5 goals, including a four-goal haul against Essendon in Round 11. In the 2006 season, he could not break into the team, and opted to have a shoulder reconstruction in July, meaning he would be sure to miss the rest of the season. In 2007, he once again found himself on the outer. With injuries to Brett Burton and Mark Ricciuto, he was called up to play against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba. Brett Burton
Brett Burton (born 4 May 1978) is a retired Australian rules footballer who played in the Australian Football League. He was picked up at Pick 16 in the 1998 AFL Draft by the Adelaide Football Club. He is noted for his spectacular high marking, which saw him win the AFL Mark of the Year in 2009, and freakish goal sense. AFL career Early career (1999-2000) Brett Burton began his AFL career in 1999 aged 20. He immediately made a difference in the team, playing all games bar one, scoring 25 goals and averaging 19 disposals. He picked up 22 disposals in the game against Geelong in Round 14. Matthew Bode
Matthew Bode (born 29 June 1979) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Port Adelaide Football Club and the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Recruited from Glenelg Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), Bode made his AFL debut in 1998 with Port Adelaide Football Club, playing as a small forward before moving to the Adelaide Football Club in 2001. Bode played just one game that year due to injury before having what was easily his best season in 2002, which saw him kick 22 goals and play all 25 games. Jason Torney
Jason Torney (born 16 June 1977) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club and the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Richmond Recruited from South Adelaide, Torney debuting in 1996 as a 19-year-old. Torney was slow in his development in the AFL and he played just six games in 1996, averaging just 5 disposals a game. In one particular game he went without possession all match. The following season he developed into an important player for Richmond, averaging 15 possessions per game, playing at half back and half forward. Neil Passmore Craig (born 11 January 1956) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Norwood Football Club, Sturt Football Club and the North Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). He later worked as a fitness adviser, and then became coach of the Adelaide Football Club, a caretaker coach of the Melbourne Football Club, the former General of Performance at the Essendon Football Club, as well as the Director of Coaching at the Carlton Football Club. Brisbane Lions
The Brisbane Lions is a professional Australian rules football club based in Brisbane, Queensland, that plays in the Australian Football League (AFL). The club was formed in late 1996 via a merger of the Melbourne-based 1883 foundation VFL club the Fitzroy Lions, and the 1987 Queensland based expansion club the Brisbane Bears, with the colours of maroon, blue, and gold being drawn from both parent clubs. Mark Ricciuto
Mark Anthony Ricciuto ( ; born 8 June 1975) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). From Ramco, South Australia, Ricciuto started as a junior with the local Waikerie Magpies Football Club. He joined the West Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL), making his debut at the age of 16, before being recruited by Adelaide as a zone selection prior to the 1993 season.
