Luke Guthrie
Luke Guthrie (born January 31, 1990) is an American professional golfer. Born in Quincy, Illinois, Guthrie played college golf at the University of Illinois. In his time at U of I, Guthrie won seven collegiate tournaments, including two Big Ten Conference Championships. Upon completion of his senior season at Illinois, Guthrie became professional and began playing on the Web.com Tour in 2012, while still taking university courses. In his first five professional golf outings, Guthrie secured four top-10 finishes. In his sixth appearance, Luke won the Albertsons Boise Open. Guthrie followed that victory with a second tournament win, just weeks later at the WNB Golf Classic. He also played three events on the PGA Tour in 2012, finishing in the top-20 in each. Guthrie's best finish was a tie for fifth place at the John Deere Classic. Quincy ( ), known as Illinois's "Gem City", is a city in and the county seat of Adams County, Illinois, United States, located on the Mississippi River. Cameron Percy
Cameron Blair Percy (born 5 May 1974) is an Australian professional golfer. Percy was born in Chelsea, Victoria and turned professional in 1998. He joined the second-tier Nationwide Tour (now known as the Korn Ferry Tour) in 2005, but enjoyed little success and returned to Australia where he won twice on the developmental Von Nida Tour in 2006. Percy was back on the Nationwide Tour in 2008 and the following year finished in 8th place on the money list, having had eight top 10 finishes including two runner-up finishes, to graduate to the PGA Tour for 2010. Percy has since bounced back-and-forth between the PGA Tour and the Korn Terry Tour. He finished 168th on the FedEx Cup points list in 2010, 161st in 2011, and 158th in 2013. Junior Ryder Cup
The Junior Ryder Cup is a team golf competition between Europe and the United States for junior golfers aged 18 and under. It is based on the men's Ryder Cup and is run by the same organisations, the PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe. The 2018 event took place at Golf Disneyland, Marne-la-Vallée, Paris, France on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 September. The United States won 12–11, their sixth successive victory in the event. Format The teams consist of six boys and six girls. From 2008 to 2018 the tournament was played over two days of foursomes, fourball and singles matches.
