Luiza Helena Trajano Inácio Rodrigues (born 9 October 1948), is a Brazilian billionaire businessperson. She is chair of the retailer Magazine Luiza and associated companies. In July 2020, ''Forbes'' noted that she was Brazil's wealthiest woman. Trajano is an advisory board member to both UNICEF Brazil and UNFPA Brazil, among other entities. In 2021 Luiza was listed by TIME magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. She is a feminist. As of April 2022, her net worth was estimated at US$1.4 billion. Life Trajano was born in Franca in the state of São Paulo. She graduated in law from Faculdade de Direito de Franca (School of Law of Franca) in 1972. Franca is a municipality in the São Paulo (state), state of São Paulo, Brazil. The city is located in the northeastern portion of the state, distant 401 km (249 mi) from the state capital (São Paulo), and 676 km (420 mi) from Brasília, Brasilia. Femicide or feminicide is a hate crime which is broadly defined as "the intentional killing of women or girls because they are female," but definitions of it vary depending on cultural context. In 1976, the feminist author Diana E. H. Russell first defined the term as "the killing of females by males because they are female." The Chamber of Deputies ( pt, Câmara dos Deputados) is a federal legislative body and the lower house of the National Congress of Brazil. The chamber comprises 513 deputies, who are elected by proportional representation to serve four-year terms. The current President of the Chamber is the Deputy Arthur Lira ( PP- AL), who was elected on 1 February 2021. Structure The number of deputies elected is proportional to the size of the population of the respective state (or of the Federal District) as of 1994.
