Luiss School Of Government
The Luiss School of Government - Luiss SoG - is a graduate school of the LUISS Guido Carli University - Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli, a private university affiliated with Confindustria and based in the Italian capital Rome. Modelled on Harvard’s Harvard Kennedy School, the Luiss SoG was founded in February 2010 and inaugurated at the presence of the President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano; its aim is that of providing graduate training for ‘high-level public and private officials who handle political and government decision-making processes’, both at national and international level. Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali "Guido Carli" (Italian for ''Free International University of Social Studies "Guido Carli"''), known by the acronym "LUISS" or "LUISS Guido Carli", is a prestigious private university located in Rome, Italy, founded in 1974 by a group of entrepreneurs led by Umberto Agnelli, brother of Gianni Agnelli. John Zysman
John Zysman (born 1946) is a professor of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley and co-founder of the Berkeley Roundtable on the International Economy (BRIE). Professor Zysman received his B.A at Harvard and his Ph.D. at MIT. He has written extensively on European and Japanese policy and corporate strategy; his interests also include comparative politics, Western European politics, political economy and energy policy. Zysman’s 1987 publication, ''Manufacturing Matters: The Myth of the Post-Industrial Economy'' (with Stephen S. Cohen), was identified by ''Business Week'' as one of the year's top ten books. Massimo Egidi (December 1, 1942) is an Italian economist. He is Professor of Economics at Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli in Rome and former rector of the university. With Axel Leijonhufvud is co-director of CELL, the Laboratory of Computable and Experimental Economics (University of Trento). Leonardo Morlino (born 1947) is Emeritus Professor of Political Science at LUISS "Guido Carli" University (Rome, Italy) specializing in comparative politics. Sergio Fabbrini (born 21 February 1949) is an Italian political scientist. He is Head of the Department of Political Science and Professor of Political science and International relations at Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli in Rome, where he holds the Intesa Sanpaolo Chair on European Governance.
