Luis Morales Scott (born 4 March 1964) is a retired Puerto Rican sprinter who specialized in the 100 and 200 metres. He competed in both 100 and 200 metres at the 1984 Olympic Games, and reached the semi-final in both events. He won the silver medal in the 100 metres at the 1987 Central American and Caribbean Championships. Luis Lopez Morales (August 25, 1885 – February 9, 1938) was a Filipino politician and lawyer. Biography Luis Lopez Morales was born on August 25, 1885, in Moncada, Tarlac. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Liceo de Manila and his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Escuela de Derecho. He was admitted to the Bar in 1908. Morales was elected for two consecutive terms in the House of Representatives to represent the 1st district of Tarlac from 1912 to 1922 and concurrently served as minority floor leader from 1919 to 1922. At the end of his stint in the lower house, he was elected as Governor of Tarlac, serving in that position until 1925. Luis Abanto Morales (25 August 1923 – 14 June 2017) was a Peruvian singer and composer. Born in Trujillo, Peru, his childhood was spent in Cajabamba where, after his father died, he was cared for by his paternal grandmother. His early studies were at the 113 school. When Abanto was 13 years old his mother, doña Rosa, brought him to Lima, and they moved to the Tingüa passage in the District of Lince. From a young age Abanto had to support his family. There he would work at day and study at night. Later he took electricity training in the Salesians Catholic School. His career began in 1942 when he won the "Districts Song" contest sponsored by Radio Callao. Later, Abanto became a famous singer and composer of traditional Peruvian music. Some of his songs carry a strong message about social conflicts and national identity, and others about love and life. Luis de Morales (1509 – 9 May 1586) was a Spanish painter active during the Spanish Renaissance in the 16th century. Known as "El Divino", most of his work was of religious subjects, including many representations of the Madonna and Child and the Passion. Influenced by Raphael Sanzio and the of Leonardo da Vinci, especially in his early work, he was called by his contemporaries "The Divine Morales" because of his skill and the shocking realism of his paintings, and because of the spirituality transmitted by all his work. His work has been divided by critics into two periods, an early stage marked by the influence of Florentine artists such as Michelangelo, and a more intense, more anatomically correct later stage with similarities to the works of German and Flemish Renaissance painters.
